About Our Pharmacy
Our online pharmacy is simply another access point for you to refill your pet’s medications from our own hospital pharmacy without having to call and leave your request on our refill line, and without having to make a trip to our office to pick up the medication.
We are dedicated to providing you with a new level of convenience and pricing for all of our prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
When you place an order it is always reviewed by one of the veterinarians at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center & Urgent Care and compared against your pet's medical record. And not only does your purchase become a permanent part of your pet's medical record at Bishop Ranch, but because it comes directly from our own hospital pharmacy stock you also enjoy peace-of-mind knowing the drug-maker's guarantee of purity, safety, and efficacy is in full-effect...a guarantee other on-line retailers cannot provide.
All our products are shipped via U.S.P.S. 1st-class mail from Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center & Urgent Care in San Ramon and have been properly stored under controlled temperature conditions. Orders placed before 12:00 noon Monday through Friday are shipped from our office the same day and delivery is usually next day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon are shipped the following day. Shipping is FREE for orders over $39 or $3.99 otherwise.
Compounding and Specialty Orders
At Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center & Urgent Care we understand that medicating your pet can be challenging. That’s why we offer compounding services and specialty orders. We can reformulate certain medications so that your pet may actually be eager to take it!
Our technicians can make flavored oral liquids, chewable tablets or conveniently sized capsules so that it is easier for you to give medications to your pet. Other options for medicating your pet include combined suspensions or transdermal patches. We offer the following options:
Transdermal Patches
Patches that you can place on your pet as a ‘band aid’ that will allow the medication to be delivered appropriately without them having to take medication orally. Transdermal Gels
Special gels that you apply to the skin on your pet’s ear that allows proper medication to be delivered without having to give the medication orally. Combining Medications
For our patients that are on multiple medications we can, if necessary, combine multiple medications into one capsule or suspension. Flavor Compounding
The most popular service we offer is combining medications in a flavorful suspension or chewable tablet form. Disguising the medication makes it easier for you to administer. We offer a large variety of flavors including Chicken, Tuna, Liver, Bacon, Salmon, Cheese, Banana, and Cherry. Holistic Medications and Herbs
Because we have veterinarians on staff who are certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, the pharmacy at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center & Urgent Care also has a wide variety of holistic medications and Chinese herbs available.
