Corona Update - We are Open

Dear Clients,

We wanted to reach out to you and let you know of the extra precautions we are taking with increased concerns of COVID 19 in our community.

It is our priority is to continue to be available to provide care for your pets in their time of need while also being diligent and practical with our practice of recommended CDC measures to keep our staff and our clients safe as possible.

The measures we are taking are as follows:

Constantly monitoring information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, state, and local
agencies to ensure we are following the guidelines set in place from authorities. Including updating you
on pet care recommendations for their risk and protection ( link to article )

Communicating with our staff and sending daily reminders to staff regarding the importance of adhering to all handwashing protocols and preventative measures.

Having hand sanitizers on hand and available in all areas of our hospital.

Providing pet owners masks upon arrival should they be coughing or showing signs of illness.

Enhancing cleaning procedures of common areas including disinfecting frequently but not limited to door handles, chairs, leashes, and counters.

Requesting our staff to avoid close contact with each other and clients including shaking hands, hugs.

Providing outside seating for pet owners waiting for appointments during busy times, and support clients who elect to wait in their car for their appointment to start.

Making sure to send staff home at first sight of sickness.

Mailing prescriptions to owners at no additional charge.

Amending our Boarding Reservations Cancellation Policy adjusting our cancellation policy to crediting deposits if canceled within 72 hours of scheduled reservation check-in date.

We especially want to support our pet owners that may be at higher risk who may need care for their pets but may want to avoid coming into the hospital if possible. We will be able to support video or phone call appointments for clients with their veterinarians who state they are at risk and their pet does not need critical emergency care in the coming weeks.

We plan on continuing to remain open during our business hours and continue to provide Routine and Urgent Care & Emergency Services as needed. Should our ability to provide care change we will inform you as soon as possible.
