The Hospital at the museum treats over 5,000 animals per year; and more than 150 of them are raccoons. Pet food is a staple of their diet and if you are getting rid of any (past the expiration date, torn bags, switching foods, etc.) the Lindsay Wildlife Museum can really use it. Cat or dog food, wet or dry - they will use it all!
If you have food to donate just call Jim Lautz at 925.254.2357 to arrange a pick-up!
