Meet Sky - A Gentle, Affectionate Husky Mix Looking for Her Person

  Some dogs are happiest when they’re off exploring the world, while others are happiest simply being close to their favorite person. Sky is definitely the latter. This beautiful Siberian Husky and German Shepherd mix is a mellow, affectionate girl who loves leisurely sniffaris, belly rubs, and settling in beside her people for plenty of cuddles.
 

  At about 4 years old and 60 pounds, Sky has a gentle personality and a whole lot of love to give. With her beautiful blue eyes, floofy tail, happy tongue-out smile, and sweet manners, she has a way of making you feel like you’ve known her forever.

My Sun Rises and Sets with YOU!

  Hello! I’m Sky, a sweet, mellow, and gentle Siberian Husky and German Shepherd mix girl. I’m about 4-years-old and weigh 60 lbs., most of which is my heart, brimming with love and affection for you.
 

  When we meet, you’ll be delighted by how warmly I welcome you. With my adorable tongue-out happy face, laid-back personality, and infectious enthusiasm, I’ll have you head-over-paws with me in no time! I’m always eager to please—especially if you come bearing treats. I’ll bunny-hop right over, greet you with a gentle sniff, and then offer you my paw to say “hello.”
 

  Once I get to know you, (which will take about 0.2 seconds ), I’ll happily flop onto my back and ask for belly rubs! You’ll get a closer look at my beautiful blue eyes—the very reason I was named Sky. Add in my floofy tail, gorgeous cream-colored coat, and wonderfully sweet disposition, and you’ll see that I’m truly the total package!
 

  Some of my favorite things to do are going on leisurely sniffaris and happily romping around the yard. But there’s one thing I love even more—snuggling right up beside you for plenty of kisses, pets, cuddles and BELLY RUBS!!!
 

  They say manners maketh the lady—and I’m certainly a well-mannered one! I walk right beside my volunteer buddies on our sniffaris and regularly check in with them along the way. I already know how to “Sit,” and I’m now working on my “Down.”
 

  When we’re in the yard, I like to stay close to you and will come happily bounding over when you call me. I absolutely love treats, too, and always take them gently from your hand. What a good girl I am!
 

  I’m not a big fan of toys—they’re just don’t seem to be my thing. Then again, maybe I never had the chance to learn how much fun they can be. Perhaps once I’m home, you can teach me how to play.
 

  I can be picky when it comes to other doggos. I enjoy the company of some, while I prefer to keep my distance from others—and oh, I’m not shy about letting them know when I need my space. If you already have a doggo at home, please bring them along for an on-leash, supervised meet-and-greet to see if we might be a good match.
 

  I also, true to my breed, have a strong instinct to chase squirrels and other small animals. So, I would do best in a home without cats or small dogs.
 

  Are you “The One”? My own person who will love and adore me unconditionally, take me on adventures, and then let me curl up beside you as we wind down the day?   Sky is the kind of dog who doesn’t need a house full of excitement to be happy—she just needs her person. She’s ready for someone who will appreciate her gentle nature, enjoy leisurely adventures with her, and give her plenty of love, affection, and belly rubs along the way.
