This could happen to you: your pet has a combination of symptoms, but they all point to different diagnoses, each of which would require a different treatment. Sometimes it's not immediately clear what disease is present in a dog or cat when they become ill (and your dog or cat isn't talking!). Blood tests may suggest one problem, whereas x-rays and ultrasound may suggest others. This is a scenario all veterinarians are familiar with and a situation where Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center & Urgent Care has a number of specialists at our disposal who help handle diagnostically complex and challenging cases.
Whether it is a surgical procedure performed by a board-certified veterinary surgeon, a review of x-rays by a board-certified veterinary radiologist, or web-based consultations with veterinary specialists in private practice and at universities worldwide, Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center & Urgent Care has access to the kind of advanced diagnostic procedures and university-quality specialists often only available at specialty practices or even veterinary schools. The only difference is, at our hospital your pet can stay right here where they are, with people they are familiar with, and at a facility close enough for you to visit as often as you like.
Of course, your pet will probably never need this sort of advanced, collaborative veterinary care. But isn't it good to know it's available if you do?
