When your pets can't stay at home, pick the next best thing: a stay at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center. Whether you're boarding your pet for one day or for two weeks, we'll make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Dog Boarding
With Small, Medium, Large, and Luxury Canine Boarding Suites available, our boarding facility offers separate heated and air-conditioned kennels. Our Luxury Boarding Suites are large enough that several dogs from one family can stay together in the same custom room. All our canine boarders are exercised and allowed to run in the outdoor play yard a minimum of four times daily. All boarding suites include bowls and bedding.
Cat Boarding
Our feline boarders enjoy a space kept separate from the dog kennel area, allowing for a stress-free environment and exercising. All boarding suites include bowls, bedding, litter box, and toys.

Luxury Suites:
Our Luxury Suites provide a spacious and relaxing atmosphere in which dogs can enjoy a larger area to relax. Each suite is provided with bowls and bedding. These suites are ideal for multiple dogs from the same family.

We offer day boarding for clients who have pets that might need a little extra supervision during the day. Pets dropped off after 7am and picked up before 8pm the same day qualify for day boarding rates.

All pets must be current on their immunizations.
All pets must be in good health.
We strongly recomment all pets boarding with us are current on parasite and flea prevention.
All medications must be in the original prescription vials; we cannot administer medications in unlabeled pill containers. If not, we will reissue the prescription for you and corresponding fees will apply. Pets that are on more than 4 prescription medications per day or require special medical services may be admitted to our hospital for Medical Boarding. Proof of current Bordetella immunization - Must be current within 2 weeks of arrival to boarding. Your pet if they haven't had their vaccine updated annually, then need to receive their first vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to check-in. Vaccine information is required 2 weeks prior to check-in or immediately upon making reservations.

Just like a hotel for people, checkout time Monday through Sunday is 12:00pm, if your pet is picked up afternoon you will be charged for the day's board.
Cancellation Policy:
If a reservation is canceled within 7 days of the check-in date or if the client fails to check-in, the deposit will not be returned.

How often will my pet be exercised?
Dogs
Dogs are let outside a minimum of four times a day in our enclosed play area
Our outdoor exercise yards allow dogs to play and run off their energy
They are supervised at all times
Our yards are fully equipped with toys, shade, sprinklers, and mist to keep dogs cool during the hot summer months
What should I pack?
Pack light! We provide bedding, food, bowls, leashes, and toys. We cannot be responsible for lost toys, bedding, crates or bowls. For more information about food, please see the next question.
You should bring any medication or supplements your pet is taking. Make sure all medications are in the original prescription vials; we cannot administer medications in unlabeled pill containers or pre-packed in meals. Medication administration is $6.50 a day for up to 4 medications.
All we need for you to provide is the completed Boarding Registration form and proof of vaccines; we'll take care of the rest!
Should I bring my pet's food?
If your pet is on a special diet, please bring their own food.
Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center provides quality food as part of the boarding service. However, a sudden switch in diet can cause diarrhea. If you are concerned, we encourage you to bring your pet's regular food. This may also help keep things familiar and consistent for your pet while they are staying with us.
Owners must provide food for exotic pets.
We are able to refrigerate and heat food if necessary.
What are your hours?
Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center is open 7 days a week. We make it easy for you to pick up and drop off, even on the weekends! Boarding pick up and drop off times are as follows:
Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday - Sunday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes! We book up quickly. Reservations are necessary to make sure your pet has space.
Do you offer Day Boarding?

What if my pet has a medical condition?
Medical Boarding is special boarding care for pets with medical conditions that require a level of care beyond the routine services provided by our regular Boarding team. Click Here to download our Medical Boarding Admit Form
Pets must receive a physical exam annually by a Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center veterinarian in order to be eligible for medical boarding services. What happens if my pet becomes sick while boarding?
One of the advantages of boarding your pet at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center is that veterinary attention is readily available if the need arises. We will assess the situation, and if a doctor's exam is needed, one will be performed right away. We will contact you to inform you of your pet's condition and any recommended treatment. An estimate for any proposed services will be provided.
Are the kennels indoors?
All pet suites are indoors and are equipped with heating and air conditioning. Dogs are exercised outside in our play yards while cats are exercised indoors.
