With her soft white coat, adorable bunny-like ears, and a heart that’s even bigger than her smile, Matilda is searching for a family who will appreciate her gentle soul and playful personality.

“The Sweetest Bunny You’ll Ever Meet!”

“Hello, I’m Matilda! I’m a stunning, graceful, sweet, and gentle Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier mix. I’m about 2 years old and 72 pounds, most of which is my BIG heart, filled to the brim with love.

The first thing you’ll notice about me is my adorable bunny-like look. Between my velvety-soft white fur, my adorable ‘antenna’ ears, and the little hops I do when I’m chasing after a ball or playing with a doggo in the adjacent yard, I’m one of the cutest bunnies you’ll ever meet.

When you approach me, I might get a little excited and jump up to say hello—I’m just so happy to make new friends, you see! But I’m also a smart girl who’s eager to learn. If you tell me ‘Off,’ ask me to sit, and reward me with a treat, I’ll quickly figure out how you like to be greeted.

Before long, I’ll be sitting politely even without you asking me to, hoping to earn your smiles, affection, and another tasty snack! And once we spend some time together, you’ll be utterly charmed by my eagerness to please, my laid-back personality, my love for kisses and belly rubs, my ever paw-sitive ‘tongue-out’ happy face, and my infectious enthusiasm for life.

Some of my favorite things to do are going on sniffaris, chasing tennis balls, and looking awwww-dorably cute while throwing toys around in the yard. Oh, and I’m a total sucker for baby talk—just give me a small dose of that, and I’ll come running to you and flop right over for belly rubs!

I love sniffing around the yard and conducting squirrel surveillance. Let’s be honest… somebody has to supervise those fuzzy little troublemakers! If we have fruit trees at home, I’m happy to volunteer as your full-time Chief of Squirrel Patrol.

I’ll do my very best to convince those sneaky little thieves to take their snack plans elsewhere!

My patrol doesn’t stop at home, either—it’ll sometimes extend to neighborhood walks we take together. Those squirrels better be on alert!

I’m quite the lady, and manners are very important to me! I make a wonderful walking companion and stroll nicely by your side… unless I’m on Squirrel Patrol. Then I may need to pause for a quick inspection!

I’m a smart girl who already knows ‘Sit’ and ‘Wait,’ and I’ll happily show off my manners while patiently waiting for my treats. And I’m as gentle as can be when taking them from your hand too!

While I can be selective about my doggo friends, I do enjoy running the fence and interacting with friendly pups. If you have a furry family member at home, I’d love to meet them during a supervised, on-leash meet-and-greet to see if we’re a good match.
