Dedication, Compassion, and Purpose — Celebrating Our August Employees of the Month

  Every day at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center, our team shows up with dedication, compassion, and a shared sense of purpose in caring for the pets and families who trust us. This August, we’re excited to recognize two team members whose work reflects the many different ways our team contributes to the care and experience we provide: Marcela from our Administration team and Daniela from our Treatment team.
 

  Marcela has been part of the BRVC family since August 2006, bringing 20 years of experience, knowledge, and dedication to our Administration team. Throughout her time at BRVC, she has also worked in Reception and as a Client Service Representative, giving her a broad understanding of both the client-facing and administrative sides of our hospital.
 

  In her current role, Marcela helps keep the hospital running smoothly by supporting important administrative and billing processes. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, it plays an important role in keeping our daily operations organized and supporting the many teams who care for our patients and serve our clients.
 

  When asked what she looks forward to most when coming to work, Marcela shared:
 

"Support staff with any payment questions and corrections while teaching them on how to handle in the future."
 

  That answer speaks to more than simply solving a problem in the moment. Marcela looks for opportunities to support her teammates while helping them build the knowledge and confidence to handle similar situations in the future. Her willingness to share her experience and help others learn is a meaningful part of the support she provides across the hospital.
 

  Daniela has been a valued member of the BRVC family since March 2022. During her time at the hospital, she has gained experience working across several areas, including Pharmacy, Boarding, ERT, and Treatment. Her experience in different departments has helped her build a well-rounded understanding of hospital operations and patient care.
 

  In her current role with our Treatment team, Daniela primarily supports our Surgery and Dental services. Her daily responsibilities include preparing patients for surgical and dental procedures, administering pre-medications, setting up procedure stations, and assisting with anesthesia and patient monitoring. Her role requires careful attention to detail and a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout each procedure.
 

  When asked what she looks forward to most when coming to work, Daniela shared:
 

"Something I look forward the most is helping patients and clients have the best possible experience at the hospital. During procedures, I focus on keeping patients as calm, comfortable, and stress-free as possible, while also reassuring clients at drop off that their pets are in good hands. As an anesthesia technician, prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and well-being is very important to me."
 

  That perspective reflects the compassion and purpose Daniela brings to her role each day. Whether she is preparing a patient for a procedure, assisting with anesthesia and monitoring, or reassuring a client at drop-off, she keeps patient comfort and safety at the center of her work. Her experience across multiple areas of the hospital, along with her thoughtful approach to patient care, makes her a valued part of our Treatment team.
 

Celebrating the Difference They Make

  Together, our August Employees of the Month represent the many ways dedication, compassion, and purpose come to life across Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center. Marcela brings years of knowledge and a commitment to supporting and teaching her teammates, while Daniela brings thoughtful, patient-centered care to the Treatment team.
 

  Although their day-to-day responsibilities look very different, both understand that their work has an impact beyond their individual roles. Whether helping a teammate navigate a payment question or caring for a patient during a procedure, they contribute to a stronger experience for our patients, clients, and fellow team members.
