Say hello to Sosa! This spunky, affectionate, and irresistibly charming Pit Bull mix is about 2½ years old—and he’s ready to introduce himself in the most Sosa way possible:
"Hello! I’m Sosa — a strong, strikingly handsome, delightfully affectionate, and actively spunky Pit Bull mix boy! I’m about 2½ years old and weigh in at 73lbs. of sweet, silly goofiness.
Think of me as the perfect blend of playful energy and charming personality — I’ll bunny hop right into your life with my positive attitude, ever-wagging tail and a heart full of love…proudly carrying a ball (or two!) in my mouth.
The first thing you’ll notice is my attractive, two-toned unique coat, which makes me look like a canine style icon! Then come my mesmerizing eyes that light up every heart they meet, and of course, my adorable little tongue that loves to pop out and say “hello!” But the real showstopper? My irresistibly cute heart-shaped nose… it’s love at first boop!
I like playing with all kinds of toys, but my MOSTEST FAVORITEST thing to do is to play ball! You’ll see me running around the yard with one in my mouth, showing it off to the doggos in the other yards. Whoever invented that round, rolling thingy was a genius!
I’m also a very good boy—I’ll drop the ball right at your feet (or in your lap!) and lovingly nudge it toward you with my nose, eagerly waiting for the next throw. Sometimes, I even manage to take care of, ahem… “business” with a ball in my mouth—yep, I’m quite the multitasker! My volunteer buddies gave me the cutest nickname— “Goofball”—and it fits me so perfectly!
I’ve already mastered “Sit” and can even “Wait” for incoming treats. I may pull at the start of my walk—mostly because I’m eager to take care of business or then check all the peemails. I can also get excited about squirrels on walks if I spot one, so I’d really appreciate someone who can help me practice and improve my leash manners. And the good news? My volunteer buddies say I’m both treat- and toy-motivated and easy to redirect—and when I tune in, I walk like an absolute dream!
I can be a little selective with my doggo friends and take my time choosing my crew, but once I do, I LOVE running the fence with them when they’re in the neighboring yards. If you have a dog at home, please do bring them along for a supervised, on-leash meet-and-greet.
I’d love to be your sweet, active, and joyful companion—whether we’re heading out for daily walks, runs, or hikes, or winding down as cozy couch buddies for late-night sitcoms and snacks. Because I can get a little too enthusiastic about chasing squirrels, I’d do best in a home without small animals.
I’m already vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered—and ready to hop into your car and head home with you… with a ball in my mouth, of course!"
Sosa is the kind of dog who brings joy into every moment—whether he’s proudly parading around with a ball in his mouth, bunny-hopping through the yard, or gently nudging you for just one more throw. He’s playful, expressive, and full of heart, with just the right balance of goofy energy and affectionate loyalty.
If you’re looking for a walking partner, a hiking buddy, and a couch companion who will happily settle in for snacks and sitcom nights, Sosa might just be your perfect match.
