Every day at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center, our team shows up with skill, compassion, and a commitment to making every pet’s and client’s experience a positive one. This April, we’re excited to recognize two exceptional team members whose experience, heart, and consistency make a meaningful impact across our hospital: Janelle from our Treatment team and Rina from our Client Service team.
Janelle has been with the BRVC team for over 11 years, bringing deep clinical experience, steady leadership, and a strong foundation of knowledge to our Treatment team. She is one of our primary dental technicians, with years of advanced skill in dentistry and surgical support. Janelle also serves as one of our Surgical Team Leads, helping guide daily operations, support her teammates, and ensure patients receive thoughtful, high-quality care throughout their visit.
Over her time at BRVC, she has supported nearly every area of the hospital—including Boarding, CSR, Drop-In/Outpatient, DVM Team, ERA, Patient Care, Pharmacy, and Urgent Care—but her primary focus is now in Treatment, where her experience and leadership are felt every day.
When asked what she looks forward to most when coming to work, Janelle shared:
“I look forward to the different cases each and every day—also being able to learn from those cases. Helping painful patients in dentistry and surgery as well as supporting clients through challenging times. And definitely my coworkers (veterinarians included! ).”
That perspective reflects what Janelle brings to BRVC each day. She approaches her work with curiosity, calm confidence, and a strong commitment to both patient care and teamwork. Her ability to combine advanced technical skill with compassion and steadiness makes her an important part of our Treatment team.
Rina has been a valued member of the BRVC family for almost 2 years and has already made a meaningful impact across multiple areas of the hospital, including Boarding, CSR, Pharmacy, Phone Room, and several departments throughout our Treatment team. She currently serves as one of our Hospital Leads, where she plays an important role in supporting daily operations, guiding workflows, and helping maintain a consistent, positive experience for both clients and patients.
In her role as a Hospital Lead, Rina helps support day-to-day operations, provides guidance and training to teammates, and steps in wherever needed to ensure the hospital continues running smoothly. Her flexibility, leadership, and willingness to take ownership across a wide range of responsibilities make her a reliable and valued part of the team.
When asked what she looks forward to most when coming to work, Rina shared:
“Seeing the patients and following up on their cases to see if they’ve improved. I like knowing what we did and how we made a difference and each case offers an opportunity for me to learn and grow while establishing connections with our clients.”
That mindset reflects Rina’s thoughtful and growth-oriented approach. She brings genuine care, curiosity, and a strong sense of purpose to her work, and her presence helps strengthen the connection between our team and the families we serve.
