Care, Connection, and Collaboration — Celebrating Our June Employees of the Month

  Every day at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center, our team shows up with skill, compassion, and a shared commitment to providing thoughtful, high-quality care for every patient and client we serve. This June, we’re excited to recognize two outstanding team members whose dedication, teamwork, and heart continue to make a meaningful impact across our hospital: Alaya from our Client Service Representative (CSR) team and Dr. Stefanie Wong from our DVM team.
 

  Alaya joined the BRVC family just three months ago and has already made a strong impression as part of our CSR team. In her role, she helps keep the front end of the hospital running smoothly while making sure clients feel supported and informed from the moment they walk in or call. Her daily responsibilities include greeting clients in person and over the phone, checking patients in and out, processing payments and insurance when applicable, scheduling appointments, and communicating with doctors, technicians, and team members to support patient care. She also helps manage incoming calls and emails, client questions, documentation, hospital information, and supports inventory needs as part of the CSR team.
 

  When asked what she looks forward to most when coming to work, Alaya shared:

"I look forward to seeing all the fur babies and being part of a team that helps provide them with the best care possible. Even if my role is behind the scenes or seems small, I find it rewarding to know I’m helping in a way.”
 

  That mindset really stands out. Even early in her time at BRVC, Alaya has shown a strong team focus and a genuine willingness to step in wherever needed. In a fast-paced environment like ours, that kind of attitude makes a real difference in keeping things running smoothly and supporting both clients and the team.
 

  Dr. Stefanie Wong has been a valued member of the BRVC team since August 2013, bringing over a decade of experience, clinical skill, and steady leadership to our hospital. As part of our DVM team, she supports patient care through medical appointments, surgeries, dentals, diagnostics, and treatment planning. She also plays an important role in reviewing lab work and radiographs, answering client and team questions, and mentoring newer doctors as they grow in their roles.
 

  When asked what she looks forward to most when coming to work, Dr. Wong shared:

"I enjoy working collaboratively as a team to help pets and their clients.”
 

  That really reflects how she shows up every day. Dr. Wong’s approach to care is grounded in collaboration and consistency, and her experience helps support both patients and the team around her. She brings a calm, steady presence to cases and contributes to a strong culture of teamwork across the hospital.
