Welcome to the team, Dr. Maag!

Dr. Maag grew up in the small east bay town of Moraga. After high school he attended the University of Oregon where he completed his undergraduate degree and then attended Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. While at veterinary school, Dr. Maag worked in a lab studying Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever outbreaks in the American southwest and served as the President of the Veterinary Dental Club.

He currently lives in the east bay with his wife Margaret and their rescue miniature schnauzer, Poppy. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the bay area’s many hiking trails, spending time with friends, and trying out new places to eat. Dr. Maag is happy to be back in the east bay and excited to serve the BRVC community.

Dr. Chris Maag is now accepting adult pets between the ages of 2-7 years old needing their annual Wellness Exam and vaccine updates.
