To my friends and clients at BRVC, With a heavy heart I'd like to announce that on August 23rd I'll be stepping away from practice at BRVC. I'm at a transitional moment of life (I just got married!) and I'm taking a leave of absence to travel with my wife, Ashley. The duration of my leave is not definite but I hope to return to BRVC in Spring 2019.

Important Canine Flu Vaccine Requirements for Boarding at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center

As of May 18, 2018 we have made the following changes to canine flu vaccine requirements. If you are boarding with us in the coming weeks please make sure to have the first vaccine in the series within 7 days of check in or be current on your annual vaccination.

As continued cases of canine influenza are reported in the Bay Area. We wanted to make sure all pet owners have the information they need so they can best protect their dogs from this virus. Canine influenza H3N2 was first reported in the Bay Area by veterinarians and kennels in the South Bay at the end of December, but now more cases are being reported throughout Northern California.
